Oracatec is looking for volunteers to support its projects in the Galapagos.
Help us promote sustainable development in the Galapagos and get to know the enchanted islands at the same time. Collaborate in our projects and learn about practical solutions that use responsibly the natural resources.

- Experience: We have been working in the Galapagos since 2011 and we had several volunteers and students.
- Responsibility: Volunteers are included in the projects we have in hotels, restaurants, homes or farms.
- Practice: We have several existing projects that serve to investigate, learn and practice.

FAQ
The minimum is two weeks, but a three-month stay is recommended to learn more about the islands and their wildlife.
Willingness and motivation to learn are necessary to come volunteer with us. We can consider your existing technical or social knowledge.
You should be at least 18 years old.
During volunteering the accommodation is provided.
Transportation to the Galapagos is not included. You should bring clothes for rain and to work in the field, snorkeling equipment, fins.
Of course. Volunteering includes 4 hours of daily work. Then you have half of the day to meet giant turtles and swim with sharks or sea lions.
